5th Annual Empowerment Walk May 17, 2008
Come Join us from 8:00AM - Noon at Huntington Beach Central Park (Near Breakfast in The Park Restaurant).

STEP ONE: How To Create Your Team
Here are some ideas:
- Ask your company to sponsor your Team
- Check with family, friends, co-workers and neighbors
- Send an email to prospective Team members telling them what Healing Odyssey means to you
- Remember you can have team members who can not attend…we call them Healing Odyssey Angels…they can hover around your team and add much needed sponsors and support
- Choose a Team name. Call the Healing Odyssey office at 949-951-3930 with a team name or email to: connect@Healingodyssey.org. Please allow a couple days for the team name to be added to the website.
STEP TWO: Register
- Have Team members register and fund-raise online at Healing Odyssey Empowerment Walk and leave all the paperwork behind.
- If your team does all their registration and fund-raising online, your won’t have any paperwork to hand in!
- When Team members register make sure they put the Team name and information in the team section.
Call the office if you are not going to register online and need a registration form.

STEP THREE: Team Fund-raising
- Encourage your Team members to set individual goals
- Fund-raise online at Healing Odyssey Empowerment Walk
- Ask friends, family and local merchants to contribute
- Find out about your company’s matching gifts program
- Send in donations so there will less paperwork the day of the walk
- Fund Raising ideas will be available on-line or by calling the office at 949-951-3930
STEP FOUR: Empowerment Walk Day!
- Contact Team members with a meeting place on Walk Day.
- Have Team members turn in all “that Day” registrations and money to Team captain
- Only the Team Captain goes to the registration Table and turns in paperwork REMEMBER on-line no paperwork!
- Send Team members to T-shirt booth to get their T-shirts
- Get team together at Team Photo booth and have your picture taken. Photos will be available on-line for all team members

TEAM RULES
Teams are comprised of a minimum of 3 members under one Team name.
Teams may contain Healing Odyssey ANGELS (members who can not attend the walk)
TEAM AWARDS
- There will be an award for the Funniest Team, Largest Team, and the Team that Raises the Most Money.
